Childrens Rooms

Chances are if your in a small space, your kids are sharing rooms. For chidlrens rooms or tweens and teens the first thing I think of is STORAGE ! I doubt you can ever have too much storage space. The above rooms have great style with clever storage ideas. Do you have any great storage ideas for a childs room? Let us know!

Two of our guys are sharing...I always thought it would be cool to have those curtains on a track used by hospitals...Never did it though.

My youngest son has a bed made out of a long chest of drawers (about 6 drawers in it...then we put two layers of plywood on top and his mattress above it. Kind of like the photo above. Works well!

I LOVE that room in the last photo. Can you tell me where it came from? I'd love to see any other shots of that room. Thanks!

I have seven children, and i'm always looking at creative ways of using the space we have. I'm really blessed that they *like* sharing rooms (even my almost 16 yo son!) - but i especially loved the first picture (with white drawers) - looks like the drawers and the bed are both in a little alcove, like a closet? Super cute - i love putting dressers in closets, esp for little boys as they don't have much to hang up, but this frees up so much floor space for legos or trains or even a loveseat to lounge on while you're drawing your manga art :)... love it! And love this blog!
